Christmas Music Rocks!!
O, Holy Night by Ivoryline
As stated previously, I’ve been thinking about starting a Twitter account to complement the blog. Something that, unlike blogging, I can do quickly when I have very little time. I have hesitated at times. There is a lot of “bad” on Twitter and of course there’s a fear of having to interact with that bad. People say some pretty disgusting things on Twitter. Not that I am concerned with what others think of me or my belief in God, but just wondering if I want to jump into that world.
Even so, I want to be bold for Christ and so, I jump!
I hope to tweet things that will remind Christians of the victory they already have in Jesus.
Thus, my account name: @victoryminders
think Victory Reminders… I hope you enjoy them and that it glorifies our awesome Father!
She always does great poetry, but today’s was something I needed to hear. Not only to remind me to be more active in seeking and staying in line with God’s will, but the reminder that He is there with us and the enormity of that fact. I terribly dislike the trials I’m going through now, but I must remember to keep seeking God through them. I thank God for speaking to me through others. I am thankful to have family that He speaks through, and now I find it in the blogosphere too.
While I know I have a lot to be thankful for, Satan doesn’t take the day off. He keeps attacking. I’m thankful for God fighting back!

Stress and worry, what they do
When they fill what’s inside of you.
They make you scared and make you fret
About what else can happen next.
That’s where I am right now
About the future I’m wondering how.
God, I love and in Him I believe
This worthless person even He will receive.
Oh my God, lift me up, help me everyday
In my life, I desperately need you to stay.
Free me, keep me, make it all ok!
Hello bloggers and followers. Long time, no post For that, I am sorry. Things have been unfortunately busy, and when I blog I can’t just do “quick” posts. I always want to give you my best, and that means spending the time to write thoughtfully and make sure everything looks good. The downside, of course, is that if I don’t have a lot of time to blog, it means it doesn’t happen!
I thought I might take a new approach with today’s WordPress Daily Prompt and do a picture instead of a normal post. I call it Burn the Black.
This world is getting more black every day as sin grows stronger and more accepted. My cause to fight for is redemption, which can only come through Jesus Christ. I want to be a firestarter, starting a fire in people’s souls that will cause them to allow the pure white of salvation from Jesus to shine through the black. Like a fire burning away the top layer to show the beauty God created beneath.
Please visit my page on Salvation to learn more! May God bless you.
Something I’d like to do is not only have a weekly Bible verse on this blog, but during the week I want to do some posts that look more into the verse. To get us started, lets look at the last memory verse, Philippians 2:3. This is a tremendous verse, which has had a way of popping up several times in my daily life since since I chose it as a memory verse.
Do nothing out of rivalry or conceit, but in humility consider others as more important than yourselves.
Philippians 2:3 (HCSB)
You can find it here (The Blessing of NO), and may very well want to add it to your favorites!
WordPress’s daily prompt for today asks what it would take for you to consider yourself a successful blogger. As we inch closer to the one year mark for this blog, I suppose it is good to see if I’m any better at it then I was when I started.
My goal from day one has always been simple: to help at least one person in their relationship with God. Read more…
Give someone a hug today. It could make a real difference in someone’s day, and it may be your own!
Then invite them to do the same for someone else, and so on. A simple thing can be a big deal!
